Darlington – Barton W. Maxwell Sr 57 of Darlington died at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday July 27, 1999 in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. Born Jan 26, 1942 in Montgomery County, he was a 1960 graduate of Darlington High School. Mr. Maxwqell had owned and operated Barton Maxwell Farm Drainage since 1969. He retired from Darlington Sand & Gravel. He was a member of Darlington Congregational Christian Church. He married Jerry Suttterfield on June 10, 1967 in Darlington. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mike Maxwell of Ft Lauderdale, Fla and Barton Jr. of Darlington; two daughters, Sharon Perrla of Fort Wayne and Kim Beverly of Crawfordsville; his mother, Mildred Maxwell of Darlington and sister, Rosemary Yates of Darlington. - transcribed by kbz
